Tremendous wildfires this summer in Sardinia
This is the heartfelt appeal launched by Emmanuele Farris, President of the Sardinian division of the Italian Botanical Society, after the tremendous wildfire occurred last summer in Sardinia in the Montiferru area.
We would like to share the letter here with all the EURAF members and supporters in order to foster a discussion on how agroforestry and, specifically, silvopastoral systems can prevent fires and to empower local communities to support policy and decision makers.
